Team captains (or a designated team member) are encouraged to pick up bib packets and swag bags for their entire team. All timing devices are disposable and part of your bib. No need to return the device at the end of the race.

The winding roads of the Pine Hill 5K course make it beautiful,  but also dangerous if runners cross the yellow line in the road. The Sherborn Police have instructed the race directors that runners must run no more than two across in the road to allow for passing. Runners and walkers participating with animals or strollers must begin the course in the walker corral at the back. And it goes without saying, but children runners under the age of 12 should be supervised by designated adult runners along the course to ensure that they are safe.

Course Amenities and Post-Race Amenities

Music will be provided at the start of the race to get runners psyched up and will continue during the event! Water will be available at the start, finish and at a water station on the course, located between miles 1 and 2. Fruit and water will be available for runners just past the finish line.

Portable Toilets

Portable toilets may be available near the start line and after the race. Please use the facilities. Participants are requested to respect surrounding private and public property by using the portable toilets provided. Please be aware that there are no public restrooms available in the town of Sherborn.

Course Clocks and Mile Signage

Mile signage will be located at miles 1 and 2 along the course. Course volunteers may be at the mile markers calling out unofficial times to racers. A digital clock will be positioned at the finish line to indicate unofficial time.

Drop-Out and Course Closure

Any runners remaining on the course after 9:30 am will be asked to move to the sidewalks for the remainder of the course.

Timing and Results

The embedded timing system will enable you to receive your net time, which will be your official time. The timing device, which is attached to your bib, must be worn for the entire race to be timed and appear among the results as an official finisher. Timing will conclude one hour following the 8:30 am start. Those remaining on the course will be directed off the roadways and onto sidewalks. Results will be posted on Sunday afternoon on the PineHillCSA.org website and on Racewire.com.
